What is your lead time on new products?
Our lead time varies, for replacement timber products we aim for a lead time between 6-8 weeks. Services such as restoration and draught proofing can usually be scheduled in a lot sooner.
Which type of wood do you use?
We can manufacture using many types of wood but mainly we prefer to use market leading Accoya as a premium option and Scandinavian slow grown pine as standard, however if you have a specification, we will endeavour to meet this.
Are the new windows and doors fully compliant with building regulations?
Our complete new windows and doors comply with Document L Building Regulations. Listed buildings and some properties in conservation areas are exempt from Document L and your local authority planning department will be able to advise. You can find out more here.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover mainly but not limited to South West London. This includes Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham, Putney, Richmond, Barnes, Hammersmith, Wimbledon, Clapham, Wandsworth, Twickenham etc. However please feel free to enquire if you’re further afield.

How long does it take to fit new windows and doors?
We aim to fit and finish both internally and externally, 2 windows a day.
Do you remove all waste materials from site?
Our highly skilled fitters will make sure to leave your property clean and tidy, disposing and taking away any wastage from site daily.
Can you replicate existing styles of timber windows?
Yes. We are experts at matching modern, energy-efficient production methods with traditional joinery technique. We can usually replicate most designs with our traditional range windows. If you specifically require like for like accuracy, replicating original existing features- we can do this but it will be at higher cost.
I live in a conservation area, do I need permission to replace my windows and if so can you assist with the process of this?
We can supply detailed information in CAD format to assist you with the planning permission application. In most cases, if you live in a conservation area and you are replacing your windows with like for like replacements you will not need planning permission. We do however always recommend that you contact your local council for more information because rules and regulations can vary from place to place.
Do you renovate sash windows?
Yes. We offer a full restoration and draught proofing service on timber sash windows. Our Sales surveyors can assess on site survey to determine which service is best for your windows.
Will my job require Scaffolding?
Nearly all of our work is carried out from the inside and will not require scaffolding. For the special instances where scaffolding is required, we will advise you to make necessary arrangements. Scaffolding is a specialist area in which our expertise doesn’t extend to. For this reason, we can supply you with scaffolding company names but we aren’t able to make recommendations.
