Aftercare & warranty
We have a great track record of not needing to return back to jobs for snagging. It is easier to complete a job correctly the first time than keeping having to come back. This being said, timber is a natural product and our products have many moving parts. Sometimes minor adjustments can be required on hinges/locks after our products have settled into their frames. We store details of each project on file, enabling us to source replacement parts quickly and without hassle. Combined with an aftercare team to assist and remedy any snagging issues that may occur on occasion.
We guarantee the timber, glazing units and ironmongery in our windows for 10 years and give 3 years on paint finish.
The management of Kensington Sash Group believe that the use of Timber in the building industry (instead of non-renewable materials like UPVC) can significantly contribute to sustainable construction. If all companies in the industry played their part to reduce carbon emissions, the benefits would be immense in the future.
90% of all products that we install are manufactured using timber. In addition to this Kensington Sash Group use only FSC® 100% wood sourced from FSC® certified forests, when manufacturing our double glazed sash windows and replacement joinery products. By buying timber windows and doors from our company, you are helping to promote growth of the forest in Europe and are protecting our planet from deforestation and climate change.
Health & safety
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have brought small domestic works into the same category as commercial and large building projects meaning that as of April 2015, contractors and the client are required to comply with these rules and regulations.
When operating on-site, our employees, other sub contractors and clients safety is paramount. Kensington Sash Group's Health and Safety Policy is formally reviewed annually by safety advisors and it is our aim to achieve a working environment free of work-related accidents, incidents and ill health.
