Manufactured using a combination of European sourced engineered timber and modified Accoya®, our timber sash windows are environmentally friendly, knot-free and bonded to provide superior quality, strength and durability that solid wood cannot match. We offer the following timbers as our standard and premium options but can source a range of the finest stable timbers including FSC Certified Sapele and Oak.

Engineered redwood windows are made using only the best sections of timber, which are scanned to ensure that they are completely faultless. The prime layers of woods are then bonded, compressed and laminated together to finish.

Possessing a 50-year guarantee against rot and reputation for durability, stability and excellent paint retention qualities, Accoya is the benchmark for long lasting timber windows and doors.

The finishing touches to your new timber windows are not to be overlooked. Our windows are supplied with high quality hardware available in a range of finishes that include a variety of chromes, brass and antique finishes such as the popular oil rubbed bronze pictured. We can also fit custom hardware sourced and supplied by yourselves.

Sash window pulleys are designed to carry the cord attached to the sash itself and the counter balancing weights. You will notice these on most traditional sliding sash windows.

Fixed to the front of the bottom rail of the bottom sash, durable and well made lift hooks are your primary way of opening your sash windows.

These locks are secured into the top sash at a height of your choosing in order to restrict the opening of the window. Ideal for airing your home whilst elsewhere in the property.

We offer a variety of different glazing options to complement our timber windows at Kensington Sash. Our surveyor will talk through these options with you at initial survey stage and advise on the best option for your needs.
